Sensory Wise Full Terms and Conditions

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SUPPLY

Any order accepted by us is subject to these terms of supply. No other terms and conditions shall apply unless expressly agreed in writing.

PRICING, DESCRIPTIONS AND AVAILABILITY

Every effort is made to maintain prices; however, we reserve the right to alter these at any time without notice. Prices given are per piece and include VAT at the current rate set. Prices shown on the website are charged in UK sterling. Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear on this Website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund. If you have already received the goods we ask that you send them back to us, upon receipt we will issue a refund.

All item prices are exclusive of delivery and packaging, unless otherwise stated. Details of our delivery charges are found in our "Delivery" section. Prices are correct at the time of order only and relate to internet purchases only. All orders for products are subject to availability and we reserve the right to refuse to supply any particular person.


DELIVERY

We aim to deliver within two working days. At busy periods, such as Christmas, this may be 3-4 working days. Some products have a longer lead time and this will be stated in the full product description where possible and you will also be contacted to confirm expected delivery time.

We will endeavour to meet the delivery date given at the time of order and where this changes we will try and let you know at the earliest opportunity. We will always try to send out complete orders, where this is not possible you will receive an email or telephone call to confirm your wishes. We will hold part orders for you if you prefer to wait until the order is complete or you can request to receive your order over a number of deliveries. Claims for damaged or missing goods must be reported to us by email or in writing within seven working days of receipt of the goods, otherwise it may not be possible for us to put this right.

Failed deliveries may be charged for redelivery however you will be asked if you wish to have the parcel redelivered. Failed deliveries returned us are invoiced at cost as follows, £9.99 return parcel fee and if we need to resend the parcel the outbound parcel cost of £7.99

The above does affect your statutory rights as a consumer.


POSTAGE AND PACKING COSTS

UK shipping cost is £5.99 per order.

Orders over £150.00 are eligible for free UK delivery. 

Where delivery is made outside of the UK shipping zones you may not be eligible for free delivery. We will confirm this for you at the point of order.

Shipping costs to Ireland:

Up to 2kg £12.00 per order.
Over 2kg and up to 4kg £20.00 per order.
Over 4kg £30.00 per order.

Shipping costs to other countries:

Up to 1kg £20.00 per order.
Over 1kg and up to 2kg £25.00 per order.
Over 2kg and up to 4kg £30.00 per order.
Over 4kg £35.00 per order.

WHERE DO WE DELIVER TO?

We deliver all over the world. Sensory Wise welcome international customers. When you place your order online and enter your delivery address you should easily find your country on the list. 

If you would like to check with us before you place your order, please email your requirements to lucy@sensorywise.co.uk who will assist you and confirm costs for postage and packaging to your country.


CHRISTMAS DELIVERY

The last day to place an order for UK delivery to guarantee delivery before Christmas is Friday 14th December 2018. 

For our overseas customers the last day to place your order to guarantee delivery before Christmas is Monday 3rd December 2018.


PAYMENT

Unless otherwise agreed payments are made immediately via PayPal through our online check-out. If payment has been arranged by invoice, invoices will be raised on the date of despatch of your order and will be payable within 28 days from this date. For any sums outstanding after this date we reserve the right to claim interest in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1988. No sums of money claimable by you can be offset against any sums of money owing to us. All goods remain the property of Sensory Wise Ltd until fully paid for. Interest may be charged on overdue accounts in accordance with Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 as amended and supplemented by the late Payment of Commercial Debts Regulations 2002.


GIFT VOUCHERS

Gift Vouchers can be redeemed on our website www.sensorywise.co.uk. If the value of your order exceeds the amount of the gift voucher the balance can be paid by credit, debit card. You can combine one or more gift vouchers to redeem against an order.

  • Gift Vouchers and unused portions of gift vouchers expire 6 months from the date of issue, where permissible under applicable law.
  • Any unused balance will be held against the gift voucher and can be redeemed up to 6 months after issue.
  • Gift Vouchers cannot be used to pay for gift vouchers.
  • Gift Vouchers cannot be applied to orders that have already been placed with Sensory Wise Ltd
  • Gift Vouchers have no cash redemption value and are not transferable or assignable.
  • General terms and conditions of purchase and use of our website apply


EXPORT ORDER TERMS

It is your responsibility as an export customer to make sure that our items comply with the intended country of export importation requirements and laws relating to sale and supply of goods. We do not accept any liability including costs for any goods that are held at port of entry or that fail to meet the sale and supply obligations of the country of destination.


CLAIMS FOR DAMAGED OR MISSING GOODS

Claims for damaged or missing goods must be reported to us by email or in writing within seven working days of receipt of the goods, otherwise it may not be possible for us to put this right. You can choose to either receive a refund or credit to roll forward to your next order.


RISK AND TITLE

You will be responsible for the goods once they are delivered to you. The risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery. From the time of delivery of the Goods any loss or damage to the Goods shall be at Your own risk. Ownership of the goods passes to you once all sums owed to us have been paid in full, including any sums owed and outstanding from previous orders. Interest will be charged on any amount owed outstanding in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1988.


PRODUCT WARRANTY

The product is warranted for a period of twelve (12) months from date of purchase by original user for any manufacturing faults as per the Sales of Goods act. Please note non-commercial grade items used in a commercial environment may invalidate the warranty.

Commercial grade products, the warranty is ninety (90) days from date of purchase by the original purchaser. Repair parts are warranted for a period of ninety (90) days from date of purchase. Replacement parts used in warranty repairs are warranted for a period of ninety (90) days or the balance of the warranty period, whichever is longer.


WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS:

  • Plastic housings
  • Bulb life time and general bulb maintenance
  • Self repair or replacement parts used without permission by the manufacturer or Sensory Wise Ltd.
  • Damaged parts resulting from an accident
  • Damage caused by improper operation, maintenance or storage
  • Damage caused by commercial use or use other than normal
  • Removable batteries and damage caused by leakage of batteries are not covered by this Warranty.

Items covered by warranty are only covered within the Country in which they are sold, if the product is later sent to another non-EU country by the customer directly and develops a fault this is outside of the warranty policy as we cannot provide warranty for damage or fault once passed through the shipping process which has not been arranged by us.


CONDITIONS WHICH WILL VOID THE WARRANTY

This warranty will be void if the product has been subjected to negligence, abuse, misuse, accidental damage, improper operation, improper maintenance, removing casings or parts or improper storage or attempted repair without authorization from Sensory Wise Ltd. The warranty is also void if damage is due to unauthorised modifications or alterations.


PRODUCT RETURNS

Every effort is made to ensure your products are inspected and tested before they leave us. At Sensory Wise Ltd we want you to feel confident in your purchase, this is why we give you 14 days after you have received your order to return the products to us. This gives you the opportunity to inspect the products, a bit like a cooling off period. You can have peace of mind and confidence when shopping with Sensory Wise Ltd.

Products returned must be in the same condition and quantities you received them in, within 14 days, for a full refund. Returns costs, unless resulting from defective products, will be made at your own expense and in all cases it is your responsibility ensure suitable packaging is used.

All refunds are made within 14 days of Sensory Wise Ltd receiving the goods back and after satisfactory inspection.

All returns must be accompanied by a valid RMA reference number. This can be obtained by visiting the Returns page, located under Customer Service in the footer of the website. 

The above does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

REQUESTING DATA WE STORE

Should you wish to view what data we hold on the system about you this can be requested via email or in writing. Please detail the exact information you are requesting such as customer service notes or account notes, your full name, address and contact telephone number, any information used by the us to identify or distinguish you from others of the same name (account numbers, unique ID's etc.), details of the specific information you require and any relevant dates. Upon receipt of this request we will send any relevant information we may hold within 40 days.
